Media Accreditation

Operating under the theme "Towards a Corruption-Free Caribbean: Ethics, Values, Trust and Morality," the 2014 Conference is being hosted by the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI). This university is collaborating with Canada's Carleton University's Centre for Values and Ethics (COVE); the Department of Government of the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, Jamaica; and the National Integrity Action (NIA) of Jamaica.

The 2014 seeks to bring together the main thinkers and political and civic actors from all over the region and internationally to discuss in an intellectually rich and open environment the values and ethical philosophies that have consequences for the policies and practices of public institutions at all levels in the region. At the centre of discussion will be the impacts of these decisions on individuals, families, and, indeed, nations.

An anticipated some 600 attendees will represent a cross-section of local and international business leaders; government officials; university students; education professionals and consultants; members of academic communities in the Caribbean, the US and the UK; and representatives of local professional associations.

We are also very positive that our very socially conscious local communities will be very ably represented.
